Brand Refresh

For years, LendingClub was best known as a personal loans company. After acquiring a bank in 2021 and expanding its product suite, it was time for the brand to evolve with the business.

Moving away from a traditional red and blue banking identity, I introduced a broader range of light blues and secondary colors to create a fresher, more modern visual language.

I owned the expansion of the identity across color, typography, iconography, and illustration, then brought the new look to life across marketing touchpoints, including web, email, social, and print. I also partnered with product teams to carry the refreshed brand into the mobile app.

Iconography

I guided the design of the entire new icon library, replacing an outdated look with thinner weights, more designs, and multiple color tone options to be used across the business both internally and externally.

Email Campaigns

I led marketing email design across LendingClub’s product portfolio, from Personal Loans to LevelUp Checking, LevelUp Savings, DebtIQ, and more. Beyond creating on-brand, mobile-optimized emails, I focused on the user experience—connecting email, landing pages,
in-funnel sign-up, and onboarding into a cohesive customer journey.

MOBILE OPTIMIZED

Website

To keep up with LendingClub’s evolving brand, I led design updates across the entire website, partnering with Engineering to refresh color, typography, imagery, and iconography.

I also designed a system of reusable page modules supporting performance marketing and direct mail campaigns, enabling our team to build and launch new pages quickly and effortlessly.
